We want to support you in living a more independent life, and our disability support services are here to allow you to do so in a kind and empathetic environment.

Travel allows you independence! We are here to assist you with travel to appointments and outings. If your journey is about you learning to travel by train or bus, we are here to assist you with it as well.

Group/ Center Activities
Our primary aim of these Group Activities is to create an atmosphere that is inclusive and inspiring. You will have the opportunity to meet new people, interact with each other, and develop a friendship; thus enhancing skill development through social, cultural, and recreational activities. We can also provide personalized professional assistance as and when required.

What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Supported Independent Living, or SIL, is the designation given by the NDIS to financing that assists persons with disabilities in living as independently as possible. The NDIS created SIL, sometimes known as shared accommodation,' to help persons with impairments and mental illnesses. This could be a person receiving full-time assistance while living in their own house, or a group of individuals sharing a home. Support is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week in either situation. The NDIS allows two to seven persons to share a home, each with a private bedroom.
Many persons with disabilities or mental illnesses cannot live alone or share a family home, thus SIL allows them to live in a suitable house while receiving day-to-day help.

We aim to help you live as free, joyful, and independent a life as possible. Erics wants to help every individual live as independently as possible, and we achieve this by assisting with and/or overseeing everyday duties to assist people in developing the skills they need. We'll figure out what you need together, and we'll be there to help you get there, depending on the level of support you need to live independently in the housing option of your choice. This could be in your own house or in shared accommodation. Erics will assist you with daily duties such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, and whatever else is required.

For all Bendigo clients, Eric Care additionally provides Supported Independent Living (SIL) services. Depending on your NDIS plan, we can offer assistance with personal care, housekeeping, daily skill training, and opportunities to participate in community events.
